The Adistar Ride was new last year. If you used to have the Adidas Adistar Cushion 6, this model feels quite similar but still very different. I thought Adistar Cushion 6 had a really nice cushioning and a smooth fit. But, running with the Ride, I realized this is a much better shoe!
What’s great about the Ride? Well, the cushioning is firmer. Which I think is good. When you have a firm shoe, you can either be a heavy or a light runner. The firm cushioning makes the model more stable and you get more back from your step. That’s my personal opinion!
This model got a tight fit. It’s not a narrow model, the model follows the foot well and the result is a really nice fit.
- Shock Absorbtion – heel: AdiPRENE , forefoot: adiPRENE+

The ForMotion heel help you run easier. I think the ForMotion is a revolution for Adidas. From having really solid heel caps and almost only made for heavy runners, this is just a great design!!
Who’s this model for? A runner who need solid cushion, a runner who likes solid stable shoes, or a runner with high arch and normal pronation.
