It was inevitable, but InvictaFC Shannon Knapp made it official on AXS TV’s “Inside MMA” that MMA manger Brett Atchley is now banned from InvictaFC events.
Knapp was quoted:
“In light of the documented information that has come to us via text messages from Mr. Atchley along with e-mails and things of that nature, with the misuse of our company name, my name.”
“Also in the light of the fact that some sexual misconduct allegations happen to taken place at some of our events, we’re standing firm that Mr. Atchley will not be welcome at our events.”
Atchley is still denying any wrong doing and told “Inside MMA” he is “hoping to clear his name”.
A big question has been asked if XFC and CFA will follow suit. XFC’s Kelly Warren is still under Atchley’s “Addison Sports Management” company, as well as CFA’s Fallon Fox.
Amateur standout Taylor Stratford has left his management company Friday, with several more fighters expected to leave next week.
Also Friday, Elaina Maxwell came forward with an allegation of business misconduct against Atchley, according to an article on BloodyElbow.com.
