Going 6-2 as an amateur, Allanna Jones made an impressive pro debut this past September, getting a first round TKO. After a tough submission loss to Randa Markos Thomas, Jones is looking to make her presence know in the grown 145 pound division. A win in this tournament would gain her a prime spot in the rankings.
Wombat Sports: You are one of the more experienced fighters coming into the tournament. Do you feel you have an edge coming in?
Allanna Jones: More experience is always good. I feel I do have a little more of edge then some of my opponents to but I know they will be prepared.
Wombat: You are coming off a submission loss your last time out. Have you learned from the experience?
Jones: I have definitely learn from the last fight. Been in the gym correcting my mistakes.
W.S.: You are drawing Fallon Fox in the opening round, and she has yet to see a second round. What are you expecting coming in?
A.J.: I’m am expecting it to be a tough fight and I training for a tough fight. Either way I will be ready.
W.S.: How has it been to work with CFA?
A.J.: It has been a really good experience so far. This will be my first fight for them and hoping to have more in the future. I believe CFA is a great promotion.
