I’m about to hop on the plane to Atlanta with my Oiselle Little Wing Teammate, Mel Lawrence for what promises to be a grueling and fantastic couple days. Before the festivities get started, I wanted to share my schedule in case you want to follow along or come meet up! More thoughts later on the race itself.
What is it? AJC Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, Georgia.
45th edition, a 4th of July Tradition, which is my favorite holiday!
Start time: 7:16 for the elite women, 7:29am for the elite men and then there are several waves after that.
Where to Find me:
I’ll be at the Expo 1-3pm taking pictures and signing autographs, magazines, forearms, bib numbers, and Picky Bar wrappers.
7:16am I’ll be racing a 10k like my butt’s on fire! Immediately afterwards I’m hoping to catch up with some Oiselle Volee and Haute Volee teammates for some war story swapping, cool down jogging, and bevies.
2-4pm Sports Authority — Buckhead, near the start of the race. I’ll be there handing out the top 1000 finishers’ mugs, and hopefully hanging out with some cool peeps!
10:30am-12pm Come to West Stride for a meet and greet and to check out this famous, Woman Owned Specialty Running Store! It’s on the corner of Northside Parkway and West Paces Ferry Road. RSVP on this facebook event!
