After the mishaps of their streams, InvictaFC president Shannon Knapp has a solution that will bring a high quality product to fans at an affordable price.
Knapp told Wombat Sports their upcoming fifth event will once again use UStream, but the event will be uplinking via satellite between the Ameristar Casino to UStream’s master control. The new system will bring True HD to viewers and should minimize problems in terms of stream quality. UStream has also corrected their paying system issues that plague the InvictaFC 4 event.
Knapp stated she wanted the event to be affordable to the masses, and didn’t want to do tradition TV PPV.
No word on how much it will cost, but it will most likely be $8 like the previous event.
