When you’ve found your favorite trainers or racing flats, it feels hard and difficult, and almost unfair, to change to another brand or try a new model. I’m a person who like to have a few pairs of the same model if I’ve found one I like a lot. I rather switch between the different pairs of the same model, than getting many different ones.
So what do you do then, when your favorite trainers are not for sale anymore?
Just get over it?!
Easier said than done, I would say. Maybe pop by your sports shop or a specialist store for running shoes and ask them what would be the best replacement from the brand or other new updates that could be worth trying.
Adidas Supernova Light has been a favorite for many runners. Did you like the Adidas Supernova Light?
I loooved those shoes! I could run easy longruns and harder intervals in those shoes. They were quite light with only 196g in womens us size 7.5. Supernova Light was such a tight fitting shoe with thin mesh in front and a narrow outsole. Unfortunately, it’s taken out of Adidas range.
But, there’s some good news too!
- Airmesh for maximum ventilation
- TORSION SYSTEM for midfoot integrity
- adiPRENE and adiPRENE+ for best protection and cushion
- Ventilation zone in the shank area
- 234g in womens uk 6
I think Boston is a great training model for lightweigh runners and a competition model for heavier runners. Or maybe this is what you’re looking for to your first marathon!
