Justine Henin announced her comeback to the WTA tennis tour in 2010.
“I’m truly happy and profoundly moved to be able to announce this evening that I am going to return to competition,” Henin said .”The goal is to return in January in Australia.”
Henin said she’s ready to compete for an eighth Grand Slam title and admitted Tuesday that she missed the game too much.

In May 2008, Henin became the first woman player to retire at No. 1, after winning nearly $20 million in prize money in her career.
A few weeks ago Clijsters, who was out of the tennis world for more than 2 years, made a great comeback and won the U.S. Open in just her third tournament back.
“Subconsciously, it might have had an impact,” Henin said, “but it certainly was not the most important reason.”
“The last 15 months I’ve been able to recharge the batteries, emotionally as well,” she said who decided to retire because some injuries and also because she was burned out.
Henin said seeing the world’s misery on UNICEF trips to eastern Congo widened her horizon like tennis never could.
