Laila Ali has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Marika activewear, a California-based company that offers gear in the yoga, fitness and lifestyle apparel categories. Ali, a former professional boxer, a mother and the daughter of the legendary Muhammad Ali, has always been a model of great health and fitness and an influential voice among female athletes. Laila’s competitive nature is rivaled by her glamour and elegance outside of the ring, making her an ideal fit for the brand. She represents Marika’s target customers in the 25-to-50 age range, women who want clothing that merges fashion, function and fit.
