It was another day and another title for Lindsay Lloyd (Centerville, UT) who, along with 2010 Olympian Chris Klug (Aspen, CO) took the U.S. Championship titles for snowboarding in parallel slalom on Saturday in Steamboat Springs.
“It’s awesome because, after having some injuries, finishing out the season strong feels great,” Lloyd said.
Lloyd was joined on the podium by Heather Herde (Oxford, CT) and Megan Farrell of Canada.
According to the winner, it was another day of challenges as she went for her second title.
“It was another challenging day. The snow was tricky and it started dumping in the middle of the race, but it ended up well,” Lloyd said.
On Klug’s end, he was happy to finish the season out strongly.
“It was a fun race today in Steamboat.Powered by Sidelines
