Michigan was able to use a “Tim Tebow” style gameplan in its win over Iowa State, 56-49. While Iowa State was up in the second half, Michigan used its trademark defense to keep the game close and scoring late with about 5:04 in the second half to secure the victory. Michigan is now 8-1 and off to its best start under Head Coach Kevin Borseth. Michigan got good performances by Courtney Boylan who led the team with 17 points and a double-double by Jenny Ryan (11 points and 10 rebounds). Iowa State was led by Hallie Christofferson’s 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jessica Schroll also contributed 12 points for Iowa State.
