Flairdog Productions’s and 8Limbs.us documentary “Neung Roy” has been accepted into the Artemis Film Festival. The festival; which is dedicated to women in action, horror, and fighting movies; told Wombat Sports the documentary will be opening the festival April 22 at 12:30 p.m. at the Ahrya Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, California. “Neung Roy” follows Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu on her journey to compete 100 times in Thailand. The feat helped her beat the record of Muay Thai bout by a westerner in country.
This will be the world premiere of the project. Co-producer MarQ Piocos will be on hand to answer questions following the movie.
The movie “Fight Valley”, which stars UFC Champion Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, and Cris “Cyborg” Justino, makes its world premiere in the same theater later in the evening.
Tickets will be available starting next week at ArtemisFilmFestival.com.
