I guess you have heard of Nike+ and all the shoes which are compatible with the Nike+ sensor. The Nike+ has been around for a while now. But Polar is one of the more known brands with speed and distance measurement.
Nike+ shoes, speed sensor, sport band or iPod Nano are urgent needs if you want to know how far or fast you run. It’s simple and easy to use. If you are more interested in heart rate monitors and analyzing your training, you better stay with Polar!
If it’s difficult to get out of the couch and get your run done, Nike+ could the be the solution.
The first edition of Nike+ SportBand was not the best. I had two and both broke after few runs. The display was the major problem. Finally, Nike+ has solved the problems and 2009 edition is clock work!
Nike+ SportBand is not only a device to help you measure/keep track of your mileage, it’s also a watch. You can use it as a simple stop watch to clock your longrun. There’s no such thing as splits! But it looks nice and come in multiple colors. Price? 600,- and $59:)
