Amanda Nunes will fight in her home country for the first time in three years when she takes on Sheila Gaff at UFC 163 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil August 3.
Nunes (7-3) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Sarah D’Aleio at InvictaFC 4 this past January. Nunes has notable wins over Vanessa Porto, Ediane Gomes, and a 14 second knockout of Julia Budd. This will be her UFC debut.
Gaff (10-5) is coming off a loss to Sarah McMann in both of their UFC debuts. Gaff was riding a three fight win streak before moving back to bantamweight for the McMann fight.
The bout will be on the preliminary card and will most likely air on FX.
