Two amateur atomweight prospects will be making their pro debuts in the coming months.
Undefeated Paulina Granado (4-0 amateur) is set to enter the pro ranks March 23 as she will take on Sarah Langerstrom (3-4) at Xtreme Combat Productions/ABG Promotions: “Rocks Extreme MMA 2” in Corpus Christi, Texas. Langerstrom will make her pro debut one month earlier as she takes on Thea Wolfe at CageSports in Tacoma, WA Feb. 16.
Granados is coming off a five round split decision victory over Stephanie Alba to win the Cage Combat 110 title this past December.
She also has a noable win over Jordan McDonald at Tuff-n-uff MMA.
Langerstrom went 3-1 early in her amateur career before losing to current InvictaFC fighter Liz McCarthy at Budo Fights in May 2011. She would lose twice to Julia Jones to end her amateur career. Wolfe is 1-0 as an ammy, getting a doctor stoppage win in her last fight.
No word on if either event will be streamed.
