I haven’t posted much juicy news lately. I must admit I’ve been busy watching the World Championships in Athletics from Berlin… Not that I haven’t done anything else.. But I went straight home after work every day to watch TV. Now, when the championship is over I have some spare time!
I needed a breakI decided to give myself some rest after some races without performing very well. I run five times a week and do some strength. It feels good to have some spare time and a chance to spend some time with friends instead.
I didn’t feel so tired after my season, but I felt that I didn’t have much more to push with. My legs felt light and fine. But when I was going out in competition pace, I didn’t have much to push. Strange feeling, but no reason to force myself to more races.
I’m glad I enjoy racing again and I have lots of motivation to work further on my strengths and weaknesses this winter. It’s a long road to get back in shape mentally as physically. But I’m on my way?
