To some these parts of the body might seem obvious but to alot of others this will be a real shock. It just goes to show that our knees are the weakest link in the skateboarding adventure, followed closely by ankles and then wrists. We all want to keep pushing ourselves, trying new tricks, slamming others until we land them but remember it’s also important to build your skills up in a logical way – don’t try something a million miles beyond where you’re at – and wear the correct kit the first time round:
1st Knee Pads
2nd Decent Shoes
3rd Wrist Guards
4th Decent Shoes
5th Elbow Pads
Some people might say it looks uncool, others might say unecessary but since only 11 girls can claim to have had no injury (lucky you!!) it just shows that its worth being a little prepared. You can’t avoid all bumps and bruises but you can hopefully protect yourself from the worst ones.
