Women’s ASP World number two ranked surfer Sally Fitzgibbons hosts another successful HPC camp
The Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC) has yet again rolled out another successful surf camp this weekend, adding the Sally Fitzgibbons Camp to its already impressive list of professional surfer branded surf camps.
The Fitzgibbons camp proved once again how popular Surfing Australia’s High Performance Camps are, boasting a sell out camp of fifteen female junior surfers.
All surfers attending the Fitzgibbons Camp had the privilege to surf pristine 3 foot (1 metre) Gold Coast and Tweed Coast beach breaks alongside Fitzgibbons, who is currently ranked number two on the Women’s Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Tour.
This weekend’s camp provided surfers with a tailored HPC training program, which included heat simulations, technique training, video analysis, Silicon Coach video comparisons and mentoring by one of the world’s best female surfers. Fitzgibbons was honoured to have her own surf camp and expressed the important role high performance training camps such as this have in developing your surfing.
“High performance coaching and development camps such as this play a vital part in the progression of your surfing – Every bit of information you can pick up from professional coaching definitely helps further your surfing skills – I recommend visiting a coaching camp to any surfer wanting to improve their surfing,” said Fitzgibbons
