Adia Barnes. who helped Seattle win its 2004 WNBA championship, is hosting a fundraiser breakfast for her namesake foundation. The current Storm color analyst works in the community to offer positive role models and create educational and athletic opportunities.
The “Fundraiser Breakfast for the Adia Barnes Foundation” will be March 10 at Portage Bay Cafe on South Lake Union from 7-9 a.m. Supporters can enjoy breakfast with Barnes and friends. Portage Bay will donate all the proceeds to the foundation. Those proceeds will go toward scholarships for upcoming camps, free inner city youth clinics and more, according to Barnes.
