German fighter Sheila Gaff has been signed to the UFC, according to a report on Ground and Pound Germany. Gaff will take on Sara McMann at UFC 159 on April 27 in Newark, NJ. The match will be on the undercard.
Gaff (10-4) will be moving up from 125 to make her UFC debut to enter the highly competitive 135 division. In her past three fights, she was able to stop her opponents in the first round, including two under 10 seconds. She was set to take on Rosi Sexton last year, but pulled out due to illness.
She will have her hands full with the undefeated wrestler McMann (6-0) who is coming off a unanimous decision win over Shayna Baszler.
The match will most likely be televised on FX.
