Stanford takes the Pac-12 title in a surprisingly dramatic 51-49 win (boxscore) behind a career-high 20 points from sophomore point guard Amber Orrange who more than made up for Chiney Ogwumike’s sub-par offensive production.
Despite the loss, UCLA’s defensive effort over the past two games in the Pac-12 tournament should not go overlooked: holding Cal to a season-low 29.5% scoring and Ogwumike without a point in the second half is no small feat.
So in light of some of the other recent losses around the nation, where should UCLA be seeded in the 2013 NCAA tournament?
