If you’re new to Seattle or ever visit during the summer, bolt to Green Lake the minute the sun shines. It was voted one of the best “people watching” places in the city and you’ll definitly see a bit of everything the minute you step out of your car.
That’s what makes the “Storm’ the Lake” events there so much fun. People who know nothing about sports, let alone the Storm, wander over to see what’s going down. The team plans to hold the annual fair on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. Fans can meet the players and coaches, purchase tickets and usually take a loop around the lake with the team. With sunny skies expected, it should be tons of fun.
