Seattle Storm to Host Fan Fest
Youth Basketball Clinic Presented by Group Health to Kick off Fan Fest at Green Lake
SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm will host Fan Fest on Saturday, May 10 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Green Lake Community Center, the team announced. Storm players and coaches will be at Green Lake Community Center, on the outdoor basketball court at Green Lake, for the event.
The Jr. Storm Youth Basketball Clinic, presented by Group Health, is open to kids ages 6-16 and tips off at 1:30 p.m. on the Storm Court at Green Lake. Storm players will take the court during the clinic with the participants for instruction, drills and interaction.
In addition to the Jr. Storm Youth Basketball Clinic presented by Group Health, fans are invited to participate with the Storm players in activities such as water balloon tosses, a bounce house and face painting.
The Storm returns its tenured backcourt in Sue Bird and Tanisha Wright, both of whom are attending Fan Fest. They will be joined by returning Storm players Camille Little, Noelle Quinn, Alysha Clark, Shekinna Stricklen and Temeka Johnson to participate in the day’s events. Also present will be two-time WNBA All-Star Crystal Langhorne, who headlines a group of new faces on the Storm roster.
