What is the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen?
Nadia Petrova: To me it’ll always be Rome. The history and everything. The breathtaking architecture. I haven’t done too well at the tournament there, maybe that’s why I always have a lot of time on my hands for sightseeing!
Dominika Cibulkova: Paris. The city has atmosphere, I really like it there. And I love Roland Garros, so I obviously love the city
Cara Black: The most beautiful place to me is the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe.
Bethanie Mattek-Sands: Indian Wells, California. The environment is just amazing. You’re in the middle of the desert but everything is green and there are waterfalls, it’s just like an oasis. The mountains are right there too… The landscaping is manicured perfectly. It’s so pretty.
Liezel Huber: The Grand Canyon.
Katarina Srebotnik: New Zealand from a helicopter view.
Ana Ivanovic: Noosa, in Australia.
Sabine Lisicki: I really like Australia. The weather, the heat, the nice people… it’s just a great atmosphere. I also did zorbing there – it’s when you roll downhill in a big ball of plastic… it’s something new and totally different and I loved it!
Michaella Krajicek: I’m a big New York fan but honestly I find something to love about every place I go to.
Patty Schnyder: The Maldives. My husband and I went there for a vacation, for our honeymoon. It’s just isolated islands, no traffic, not a single car, just a private beach, out on the Indian Ocean. It was perfect.
Elena Dementieva: The most beautiful place for me is Monaco. I also like Bali – I used to play the tournament there and it’s at a beautiful resort.
Vania King: Bali, Indonesia.
Caroline Wozniacki: Bali!
Aleksandra Wozniak: Bali is beautiful… the beach was very nice. I also love Mont Tremblant because of the mountains covered in snow during winter.
