The Be Love Bus girls began their journey on the Gold Coast last crew at the Quiksilver/Roxy Pro to raise money for the Keep A Breast Foundation. With a donated van from Wicked Campers, the “Be Love Bus” is currently being painted by local artists from Coolangata, as well some of the World’s Best Surfers from the contest.
The girls have been documenting their trip, posting video blogs and photos for fans and followers to enjoy. Talented Cindy Santini is not only a world?class musician, but also a successful webmaster, and has created a website for the adventure: http://www.belovebus.com Leah Dawson has been editing the footage the girls taken so far along the trip, in effort to create an entertaining episodic following for the site, and their supporters.
“The trip has been incredible so far. We have met so many people that are so supportive of our efforts, ” mentioned Pro Surfer Rochelle Ballard. “We are humbled by the community’s active approach to spreading healthy lifestyles, and are excited to continue spreading our message of love and awareness to the beautiful people of Australia, as well as our followers online.”
Beginning on March 4th, the girls will be showcasing for five days at the Quiksilver/Roxy Pro, playing live music shows, and giving yoga classes. The Be Love Bus will be on display during this time, available for the Pro Surfers to come make their mark, and share their support for breast cancer awareness. They will also be raffling off a number of items in order to raise money for the Keep A Breast Foundation.
