Three More Bouts Added to a Busy June 15th Weekend

It will be a loaded weekend for MMA as 8 professional bouts will be contested. Three international matches were just added this past weekend.

Among them, Super Fight League staple Lena Ovchynnikova will take on Alisa Alimova at the World MMA Association even in Kiev, Ukraine Friday. Lena (9-2) is coming off a win over Fathia Mostafa at the SFL this past April. Alimova will be making her pro MMA debut.

After losing to Jessica Eye just a few weeks ago, Carina Damm (17-9) will re enter the cage in her native Brazil to take on Nayara Rodrigues (1-0) at MMA Fight Show 2 in Rio de Janeiro. Rodrigues is coming off a debut decsion win this past April.

In another fight in Brazil, Alessandra Silva will be replacing UFC signee Jessica Andrade against Kalindra Faria at Real Fight 9 in Sao Paulo. Silva (2-10) isn looking to snap a sox fight losing streak. Faria (9-3-1) is looking for her 6th win.
