One of the top amateur flyweight prospects has signed to XFC.
Cortney Casey (6-2) will be joining the ever expanding women’s division, as announced in a press release Friday. The Phoenix based fighter is coming off three armbar victories, with a highlight reel flying armbar over Rachael Cummins this past November.
Casey will compete one more time in the Tuff-n-uff promotion before making her pro debut in mid-2013 for XFC.
She is the fourth signing in the past four months for the promotion, and looks like it won’t be slowing down anytime soon. The promotion also stated they will expand to two female bouts a card, with both being televised.
The expansion will start on their April card.
