Many people may not have heard the name Sam Wilson outside the Women’s MMA circles, but she has been an influential part of the progression of the sport. Now, she is a part of InvictaFC.
The company’s vice-president and co-owner Shannon Knapp made the announcement Wednesday that Wilson has been hired as a talent consultant. Wilson has helped many female fighters book matches in multiple organization, including Tuff-n-uff and Strikeforce. She also helped organize the G2 Women’s MMA Summit this past summer, and will be helping organize the G3 Summit this summer in Florida.
Wilson also won the “Legacy” award at the WMMA Awards 2010.
InvictaFC will have their initial card April 28 in Kansas City, MO.
