2017 ADCC World Championships Female Competitors Announced

The biennial ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship is fast approaching and two womens championships will be on the line.

16 female competitors will be heading to Finland for the tournaments, which will take place on September 23-24. Among them former championsMackenzie Dern (215), Gabi Garcia (2013), andMichelle Nicolini (2013).

The list is subject to change. The brackets will be announced the night before the tournament begins.

Women under 60kg/132 lbs

  • Mackenzie Dern 2015 champion
  • Bianca Baslio (Brazil) South American Trials Winner
  • Rikako Yuasa (Japan) Asia & Oceania Winner
  • Elizabeth Clay (USA) North American Trials Winner
  • Ffion Davies (United Kingdom) European Trials Winner
  • Michelle Nicolini 2013 champion
  • Beatriz Mesquita
  • Tammi Musumeci

Women over 60kg/32 lbs

  • Gabi Garcia 2013 Champion
  • Talita Treta Nogueira (Brazil) South American Trials Winner
  • Tara White (USA) North American Trials Winner
  • Samantha Cook (United Kingdom) European Trials Winner
  • Jessica Flowers
