My log book was buried in my dive bag, which was stashed in the attic, a sure sign that it has been too long since I’ve been on a dive trip. I had to get a new PADI card at the last minute but after a quick refresher course, I was off to Indonesia and some of the most memorable diving of my life. Swimming with the manta rays near Padang Bai is something I will never forget!
