Sarah Hammer: Cycling

 Hammer is an Olympic cyclist with 20 national titles to her name.

Hammer started cycling as an eight-year-old. In 1995 she won her first junior national title. She became a professional triathlete in 2002. After two years, she quit due to burn out. Inspired by the 2004 Athens Olympics, Hammer made her return to the sport.

Throughout her career she has found much success. She has 20 National Championship titles, Ten Times World Cup Gold Medals, is a four-time World Track Cycling Champion and holds the world record in the 3k individual pursuit (3.22.2). She was also a member of the 2008 Olympic team.
