Auburn’s Hasina Muhammad dismissed from team following fight suspension

What an unfortunate situation:

Auburn has dismissed one of its top players for violating team rules.

Forward Hasina Muhammad, who was involved in an ugly on-the-court against an Alabama player on Jan. 22, was booted Sunday, coach Terri Williams-Flournoy announced.

“Our student-athletes have to be held accountable for the choices they make,” Williams-Flournoy said in a statement released by Auburn. “It is a privilege to represent Auburn University as a student-athlete, and we expect everyone that is part of our program to conduct themselves accordingly.”

More player news:

Defense is a constant for Oregon’s Drea Toler.

Oklahoma State’s Katelyn Loecker is teammate defined.
