Complete InvictaFC 17 Card Announced – Souza vs. Hill Added

With May 7th vastly approaching, InvictaFC has finally announced full details of their 17th card at the Hanger in Costa Mesa, California. As announced at InvictaFC 16, Tonya Evinger will defend her bantamweight title against #1 contender Colleen Schneider. Another title fight will also happen at InvictaFc 17 as Livia Renata Souza (9-0) will look to defend her belt for a second time against UFC vet and rising star Angela Hill (4-2). Both have back to back finishes is the promotion.

A fight that could see a new contender at 115 sees DEEP-JEWELS champion Mizuki Inoue (11-4) face Brazilian Aline Serio. Mizuki is on a three fight win streak including a win over Lacey Schuckman at InvictaFC 15. Serio is a six year vet of the sport and has won 5 of her last six bouts.

One of the top featherweights on the planet LaToya Walker (5-0) looks to stake her claim to a title shot as she faces Charmaine Tweet (8-5). Walker is coming off a win last year in Invicta over Peggy Morgan and has yet to taste defeat. Tweet is coming off back t back wins since her defeat on Cyborg Justino and looks to play spoiler.

Amanda Bell (3-3) and Megan Anderson (5-2) will duke it out in a featherweight battle. Bell is coming ff a loss to Faith Van Duin and looks to regain momentum. Anderson is comingg off a win over Amber Leibrock at InvictaFC 15.

Two flyweight fights were announced on the InvictaFC podcast as promotional newcomer Ariel Beck faces popular Rachael Ostovich and the well rounded Shannon Sinn faces the powerful Christine Stanley.

Beck (4-2) is coming off a first round TKO win last month. She lost to InvictaFC star Andrea Lee in a “Fight of the Night” at Legacy. Ostovich (2-2) is also coming off a submission loss to Lee, but has proven just as tough.

Sinn (2-2) defeated Maureen Riordon in her last InvictaFC outing last year and looks to string up another win. Stanley (4-1) has finished in all of her wins. The two were supposed to fight this past January but Sinn dropped out due to injury.

Cage Warriors vet Laura Howarth will make her promotional debut as she takes on amateur standout Alexa Conners.

Rounding out the card, Atomweight contenders collide as Tessa Simpson (4-1) and Julie Jones (4-0) make their InvictaFC debuts.

The card will stream on UFC Fight Pass May 7th.
