Connecticut beats Notre Dame to claim tenth title

Connecticut put away Notre Dame, 63-53, for their tenth National Championship.

Naismith Trophy:

The Naismith college coach of the year is Princeton’s Courtney Banghart.

The Naismith college player of the year is UConn’s Breanna Stewart.

Player news:

Former Indiana guard Larryn Brooks has transferred to Texas Tech.

Junior point guard Ashley Betz-White has chosen not to return to Old Dominion next year.
