Corso Out; Rachael Cummins to Face Christine Stanley

Cummins

Emily Corso’s InvictaFC debut will have to wait.

The undefeated flyweight suffered a dislocated toe in training and had to bow out of her fight with Christine Stanley at the promotion’s 11th event February 27 in Los Angeles.

However, a replacement has been found. Local Los Angeles fighter and Tuff-n-uff vet Rahael Cummins will step in for the biggest fight of her career.

Cummins (2-2) lost in her last bout in the XFC tournament in Brazil and is looking to regain some momentum. She has back to back armbar wins, one over Michele Gutierez.

She will have a tough test in Stanley (3-1) who has knocked out in all of her wins in under a minute. She won the KO of the Year at the WMMA Press 2014 awards for her 5 second spin kick KO.

The fight will stream on UFC Fight Pass.
