Gabby Douglas wins GOLD! Hear Her Proud Momma(s) Talk About the Historic Win

All of America is smitten with Olympic gold medal gymnast Gabby Douglas and we’re on board as well. The tiny teen’s smile can light up a room and her powerful performances at this year’s Summer Games leave us, well. speechless.

Douglas made Olympic Games history as the first Olympian to ever win a gold medal in both the all-around and team gymnastics event at a single Olympic Games. Additionally, she became the first African-American to win a gold medal in gymnastics for the USA.

Immediately following the individual all-around gold medal win, Gabby’s family visited the P&G Family Home to celebrate. Her biological mom, Natalie Hawkins, and host mom for the past two years, Missy Parton, discuss how it feels to watch Gabby win gold and represent Team USA.
