Hoopism: Slumps Busted

Today’s results:

The Fever broke out of their slump by routing the Liberty, 98-77. Indiana scored a WNBA record-tying 40 first quarter points.

Also snapping out of a down period were the Sparks, who rallied late to beat the Stars, 70-61.
