Hoopism: Some oddities in the last night of games before break

Eastern Michigan came from 16 points behind to edge Michigan, 64-63.

San Diego upended BYU, 78-65.

Santa Clara topped St. Mary’s, 73-67.

Pacific downed San Francisco, 70-57.

Also:

Georgia routed Cincinnati, 60-42. They are 11-1.

Gonzaga held off Loyola Marymount, 66-59. Shelby Cheslek broke the Bulldog program record for blocks, swatting her 177th.

The Oregon State Beavers are facing adversity with Sydney Wiese’s injury.
