In keeping with SB Nation’s innovative use of social media in reshaping sports journalism, our vision is a women's basketball site that goes beyond merely providing game reports; instead, we want to capture the narratives that fuel our passion for the game, while maintaining the critical stance that helps us understand the game better.

Basketball in Seattle is passionate. It's kinda been under wraps for a while and then you've had some players go out. You've had the University of Washington have some success and get it out there more. But there's tremendous support and love in this area for guys that play right, guys that love basketball. And we're fortunate to be in an area where you're not necessarily creating it as much as you're just showing them, 'Hey, we're here -- come on out.' And they're going to keep coming out. That part is easy because they're already here. That's why I recruit Seattle and will always have an abundance of our kids be from here. You want to get it to where this is Seattle basketball at its best and that's what we're going to build it to, that's our goal.
