In keeping with SB Nation’s innovative use of social media in reshaping sports journalism, our vision is a women's basketball site that goes beyond merely providing game reports; instead, we want to capture the narratives that fuel our passion for the game, while maintaining the critical stance that helps us understand the game better.

"If she walked away today, she would still be in the top three."

An article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about how Connecticut's Maya Moore stays in touch with her church in Atlanta provides some interesting quotes about Moore's place - current and historic - in college basketball from Georgia Tech coach MaChelle Joseph and Atlanta Dream coach Marynell Meadors.

Joseph puts her up there with Teresa Edwards, Cheryl Miller and Lisa Leslie. "No doubt she’s on track to become the greatest player ever." (It was Joseph who provided the quote above.)

Meadors said, ""She’s the great one coming out this year." Meadors, if you remember, was a coach on the United States FIBA gold medal team.
