I did a quick interview with Jill Montgomery trackside at the Mt. SAC Relays yesterday. Montgomery is a sports broadcaster for NBC and Universal Sports. She has commentated on track & field, basketball, football, baseball and soccer. Her last gig was calling the World Indoor Track & Field Championships in Doha, Qatar, in March.
A former Division I heptathlete herself, Montgomery brings a well-rounded understanding of not only the sport itself but of the athlete's perspective as well.

Thanks for sharing this Ann! We have a growing number of Irish women broadcasters working in sport and it's great to see. It's relatively new but they do a great job, and hopefully are inspiring more women to follow them.
