Berlin 2009The IAAF World Track & Field Championships are under way in the historical Berlin stadium. The 9-day meet features all the superstars of Track & Field, including Allyson Felix (200m), Sanya Richards (400m), Yelena Isinbaeva (Pole Vault), Kara Goucher (Marathon), Shalane Flanagan (10K), Maggie Vessey (800m), Anna Willard (1500m), Jenny Barringer (Steeplechase), our very own Brianna Glenn (Long Jump)...oh yeah and those really fast guys...Usain Bolt and Tyson Gay or something? ;)

You can watch the enter meet LIVE at http://www.universalsports.com. If you miss some of the late-night events, however, NBC and Versus are showing extensive highlights at least once a day. Below is a comprehensive viewing schedule, whether you choose to watch the meet online, on TV, or both. Thanks to Dr. James Fields for this great schedule, which he put together from several sources. Dr. Fields is the knowledge and statistics behind http://www.steeplechics.com and the Steeple Report, an electronic mailing that includes international results of meets that include the women's steeplechase.

Also, here are the meet Schedule & Results.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Men's 100m Final (Sunday), the Women's Steeplechase Final (Monday), the Women's 400m Final (Tuesday), the Women's 100m Hurdles Final and 800m Final (Wednesday), the Women's 200m Final (Friday), the Men's and Women's 4x100m Finals (Saturday), and the Women's 1500m Final (Sunday).

Follow @followlolo for some fun interviews and commentary by Lolo Jones, the current world-leader in the 100m Hurdles who did not make the US team and therefore cannot compete at this meet. She is over in Berlin working for Eurosport and making the best of it!

One tweet says "What does the public want to know about behind the scene for athletes or WC's? Tweet it and we may use your idea! Thanks 4 the feedback!!!" ...so let her know what you want to know!

And how could I forget Flotrack? Mark and Ryan are on-site in Berlin bringing you interviews from all of the athletes, tours of the facilities, "crack recaps" of each day and more! Check out their coverage here.
