The World Cup is setting a new style trend this summer: nationalistic fashions. Brands from all over the globe are continuing to capitalize on this major sporting event by offering a wide range of merchandise to allow fans to showcase their pride in their country.
One of the latest to hop on board is Stockholm, Sweden's Happy Socks company. The brand collaborated with scarf retailer, Wong Wong, to launch a special World Cup sock collection. The line is inspired by the history of nine footballing nations including Argentina, Brazil, the U.K., France, Germany, Holland, Italy, South Africa and the U.S.
Each pair of Happy Socks features the country's colors and a reinterpretation of their flag. Six past World Champions are also represented, each with embroidered gold stars signifying the number of titles won.
If you're looking to pick up a pair just in time for kickoff, they will be available for men and women beginning May 20th at Happy Socks retailers around the globe. You can also head to Urban Outfitters and grab a pair for $12.00.
