I'm contacted occasionally by marketing reps and PR departments, to see if I would be interested in reviewing their products for the various sites I write for.I was recently sent a sample of Forze GPS shakes and bars.

Forze is created by Pacific Health Labs, the same company that produces Accelerade and Endurox R4. Forze is an appetite management tool created for athletes. The drinks, which are available in a 4-pack that retails for $11.99, are available in vanilla and chocolate flavors. The bars, which retail for $1.99 each, are available in both chocolate peanut butter and cranberry nut flavors.

What is Forze?
According to the website: "Forze GPS is the first weight management tool designed specifically for athletes. Forze GPS uses a patented blend of healthy fats, protein and calcium, plus added fiber to activate the body's natural appetite control signal. Forze GPS is designed to be taken between meals, as a snack replacement and to leave you feeling satisfied longer. Forze GPS helps control your hunger so you achieve your performance goals."

Bike Diva's Opinion
I actually put my husband to work testing the Forze drinks and bars. I am lactose intolerant, so I wasn't able to sample the drinks, as they contain whey protein isolate. I also wasn't able to sample the bars as they contain milk protein isolate, whey protein isolate and whey powder. The bars also contain peanut products, including peanuts, peanut coating and peanut flour, so they should be avoided by anyone that is allergic to peanuts.

My husband loved both the drinks and bars He brought them in to work, where he doesn't always have time to stop for lunch when he is hungry. The drinks and bars were the perfect between meal snack, that filled him up, without a lot of un-necessary calories. He is definitely a fan of the Forze GPS line of products.

He said the drink was smooth and creamy, and the bars were really tasty. He would definitely recommend the Forze line of products to his friends and fellow athletes. The Forze GPS bars and shakes can be enjoyed as a between meal snack, or even as a light breakfast before going out for a early morning workout.

Calories per serving

  • Chocolate shake = 50
  • Vanilla shake = 45
  • Bars = 160

Additional Information
Check the Forze GPS website to find stores in your area that sell the bars and shakes. Visit the Forze GPS website for additional information: www.forzegps.com. You can also follow Forze on Twitter: twitter.com/ForzeGPS.
