The WNBA tweeted this that basketball legends Sheryl Swoopes, Tina Thompson and Lisa Leslie - pictured here - were recognized during the NBA All-Star game. I don't know whether it was at a timeout or halftime, but I hope it was for a very long time - especially in the case of Swoopes, who has never received a proper retirement acknowledgement since being cut by the Seattle Storm two years ago.
I appreciate that the NBA did this. These players deserve it.
