Is It Really a New Era for Women’s Sport? The International Canoe Federation’s Dirty Little Secret

WomenCAN International participated in the 8th Annual Play the Game Conference in Aarhus, Denmark, October 28-31, 2013.  Link to presentation and speech script here.

Play the Game’s aim is to strengthen the ethical foundation of sport and promote democracy, transparency and freedom of expression in sport. It is run by the Danish Institute for Sports Studies, an independent institution set up by the Danish Ministry of Culture.

Pam Boteler, President, WomenCAN International

WomenCAN International continues to educate and advocate for Olympic inclusion for women’s canoe for 2016 and seeks balance between the genders and canoe/kayak by 2020.
