The winner of the Living Room’s Direct Giftcard is shockingly my friend ARON! :) YAY! Enjoy amigo… see here’s the random number generator picture from my computer. She was comment 5.

So every now and again I post some new sweet tunes and most of you just steal all my brilliance and then use them to motivate yourself on your runs. Which is great because that’s EXACTLY how it’s suppose to work! :) There are a bunch of new songs just starting to surface that I love, and I want to share them all with you! I caution you all though, when you click on the videos, watch them at your own risk!

Starting off with Lady Gaga “Starstruck“. I love this song, it’s so upbeat and the beats keep me going for sure. Then we have Shakira “Shewolf”. This song took me about 5 listens before I even remotely liked it. Then I saw the video, and it’s SO dirty. I don’t recommend it, but the song is good. Then we have Mariah Carey “Obsessed”, now, I am NOT a Mariah fan, at all, but this song is really good. I really like it and it is very upbeat and fast. I really like Cobra Starship “Good Girls Go Bad” also. This song has a good background music when trying to run faster, and I think Leighton Meester is super cute, and she can kind of sing, extra bonus. Then we have a favorite that has grown on me, which is Sean Kingston, “Fire Burning”. At first I hated this song, but now I really like it as well. It’s good for running.

Now, this is an oldie but a goodie, but obviously, we can’t deny some Notorious B.I.G some love with an old classic of “Hypnotize“, which has recently re-entered my play list options. I also really like the song by Dorrough “Ice Cream Paint Job“. It’s a little more rap than I usually listen to but it’s still pretty good. It all depends on the mood I’m in. I usually listen to it to about half way through when they start to woof like dogs. That’s a personal favorite. Then I really like Fabolous “Throw it in the Bag” Then I found a few overall bands that you must download all of their stuff. This is MSTRKRFT and Girl Talk. A personal favorite from the MSTRKRFT group is “Heartbreaker” but I like all their stuff. Then we have Girl Talk. Now, this sounds LAME, but they are great and create REALLY great running mash-ups of all the popular hip hop songs and it’s super fun to run too. Be careful some of them are really dirty, but I find them very humorous. I really like “Bounce” and “No Pause

Also, there’s Fabolous “Throw it in the Bag“, Mack 10’s “So Sharp“, The Dream’s “Walking on The Moon” and LMFAO “La La La

If I find any more good jams, of course I’ll share with you. This morning I shocked myself and got up for yet another morning run. This time I had 7 miles on my plate and though my quads were a little sore from the gym last night I got it done with an 8:12 average pace. I really pushed the last mile a lot and it was really hard but a good run. Now, I just have to rest up until I run my long run again on Saturday. This time I won’t be in Vegas or hungover, so it should be much better than my 6 miler last weekend and the spin class of death.

Morning running is growing on me, and it’s much easier when you only have to do it 2 days a week. They were filming a movie down the street which is always interesting to watch, and there were some guys training for some kind of army drill or something. Dang, those boys can run. It was interesting watching them run as well. One day I’ll get up enough guts to ask someone I see rather often in the mornings to run with me. We’ll see whenever that happens. Tomorrow I think I might put up some more Vegas pictures for foto friday, since there are so many fun ones!

xoxo
