Throw, hit and run like a girl — at least like 13-year old Katie Reyes from Canada. ESPN reported that Katie’s 9th inning single scored the winning run for a 14-13 victory. And this was not just a neighborhood scrimmage either — it was the Little League World Series against Germany. Officials say it’s the first time in the event’s history that a girl has had a game-winning hit. “I was so excited, I was shaking,” Katie said of her final hit.
