WTS PodcastWelcome to the second podcast in a 3-part series of interviews with Christine Brennan, renowned sports journalist, best-selling author and commentator.  Brennan was a pioneer as a female sports journalist and is still today the most widely-read female sports columnist, currently writing for USA Today.

In this segment, Brennan discusses the International Olympic Committee's decisions to remove Softball from the Summer Olympic Program and its refusal to add women's Ski Jumping to the Winter program.

"Jacques Rogge, the IOC President, is in danger of having his legacy...be that he did more damage to women's sports than any IOC President," says Brennan.

Support equality in the Olympics by visiting www.backsoftball.com and www.wsj2010.com to learn how you can help.

Need a last-minute Father's Day gift?  I highly recommend Brennan's latest book, Best Seat in the House: a Father, a Daughter, a Journey through Sports. The book is a touching memoir about Brennan's early interest in sports and her father's enthusiastic encouragement of this interest, despite the fact that she was a girl.  Fathers and daughters will appreciate this book on many levels and recognize their story in Brennan's: how a father's support means so much to a young girl.

Shop for the book on Amazon.com or contact Christine Brennan through her website, www.christinebrennan.com, to request a copy signed by the author herself!

Also don't forget to Follow Christine Brennan on Twitter!

Stay tuned for Part 3 of this podcast series of interviews with Christine Brennan.
