We’re not JUST jocks. We like to read too. And maybe even discuss a book or two. So hunker down and relax with one of our book recommendations. Nothing like some mental gymnastics!

I'll have to check these out! I love reading biographies about great athletes. There was one about Marla Streb, a kick-a mountain biker. I can't remember the title, but it was really good. Also loved Michelle Akers' book, "The Game and the Glory". My all-time favorite however is "The Silence of Great Distance" by Frank Murphy. It's about female distance runners and how they are unique and complicated athletes.
