I thought the lack of team tallies might mean the Pride would put someone who scored near the top of the league at forward. But apparently Abily's going to anchor an attacking midfield, something of a contradiction in terms for this team in the past. How's her passing, LA fans? Lord knows Sinclair doesn't put the ball in the net unless her service is perfect. Presuming that trick works, we could theoretically use our top pick to select a high-scoring forward. Or pick up another defender to guard against last year's Wilson injury fiasco (the Sol would go a long way to making amends if this trade works out). One good decision does not a solid GM make, but with a draft this talent-rich, there's very little Montoya could do to screw it up short of drafting a back-up goalie.
